This post contains affiliate links. when you purchase the SewFab bundle through these links I earn a percentage of that sale. thank you so much for supporting the SewFab sale!

As per the usual - the SewFab sale buy it button and info on the patterns all in the bundle are at the bottom of the post :)

Next up on the what I sewed from SewFab series is the Bimaa Sweater by LouBee Clothing ! This sweater has several options for the neckline, I chose the hoodie ! It gets pretty chilly where i live, and prety quickly too, so I wanted comfy cozy for my youngest!

The main fabric is cozy fleece I got on a great sale (noticing a trend?) It was actually a fleece blanket I picked up brand new from the grocery superstore for $2! The hood lining is a cut up bit of leftover knit receiving blanket.  (The rest of the receiving blanket went into pants - that post tomorrow!)

Today's pictures aren't the greatest (thank-you rainy weather for the past 3 days...)

This hoodie is soooo cozy and I LOVE the neckline of it and how it attaches!

and a little sneak peak of the pants I made to match that you get to see tomorrow! Can you guess which SewFab pattern they are?

If you have made it this far into the week without buying the sewfab bundle I admire your willpower, but you really should just buy the bundle! It is the most amazing deal I have ever seen on a group of patterns!

Sally oh Sally! and a Cardi to Match!

This post contains affiliate links. when you purchase the SewFab bundle through these links I earn a percentage of that sale. thank you so much for supporting the SewFab sale!

The link to buy the SewFab bundle is at the bottom of the post - along with a collage of all the patterns in it! Seriously awesome value - 26 patterns from 26 designers (including us) for only $29.95!

Now I know we are at mid week already, but I'll be honest with you all. When I got the bundle - THIS was the first pattern/s I made from it!

So without further ado, The Sally dress by Luvinthemommyhood and the Greenpoint Cardigan by Hey June. Both these lovely patterns are in the SewFab bundle - link at the bottom of the post.

I made this one with a gorgeous lawn I bought for a great price on fabric.com. My plan was to use it to make "wearable muslins" for myself... but the fabric told me it wanted to be a Sally dress :)

I did the elbow sleeve version of the dress. This dress also has short sleeves option and a sleeveless option as well.

The pockets are perfect for embroidering on!  And my girl loves collecting "treasures" on our walks in these oversized pockets!

are you sold yet? You can skip ahead to the bottom of the post for the link to buy the bundle :) ... but you would be missing out on some super cute pictures!

With no buttons, zips, or closure the dress is easy on and off so it is perfect for the independent toddler!

My girl was on on the edge of one size so I made a size up to have it fit longer. Kids just grow so fast!

Because I love this pattern so much I had to make another! (This colourful version of the Sally got sent to a friend for a sewing exchange we did)

A close up of the lovely pockets!

and one more shot of the Sally styled for the fall under the greenpoint cardigan.

And now as promised here are the details on the sale and our big ol' buy the bundle button :)

This PJ Eater Loves to Eat Paper!

This post contains affiliate links. when you purchase the SewFab bundle through these links I earn a percentage of that sale. thank you so much for supporting the SewFab sale!

Are you excited to see what pattern from the SewFab bundle I sewed up today? (Link to purchase the bundle is at the bottom of the post

Today I sewed up Sew Fearless' Pajama Eaters! Now if you have seen this pattern elsewhere you have surely seen (or look in the image at the bottom of the post) that this pattern is usually a but more "monster" ish. Now I have two little girls, and the oldest doesn't really appreciate taking things with teeth to bed. So I decided to girl up this pattern a bit and did a monkey!

I made the face out of felt and stitched it on before sewing the pillow together.

I also, of course, had to add a cute monkey tail!

The premise of the pajama eater is that it eats PJ's thus ensuring your child has a spot for their jammies and they are easy to find. But my kids eat breakfast in their jammies and being only 3 and 1 this means jammies get dirty nearly everyday. So we use the pajama eater to keep the special cards and notes ! Yes this little monkey is a love note eater! He gets nothing but love and encouragements for breakfast!

See all those little cards and notes :) We like to write my daughter(s) notes on a regular basis, even though they can't read them yet I like to think that when they get to teenagers and are all angry at the world they will look back and read these childhood notes and hopefully take it a bit easier on us !

Now as promised - the bundle information! All the good stuff is below! You can also keep up to date on all things Scientific Seamstress and sisboom by following on facebook and in our facebook group

Hello all! This week you are in for a sewfab smorgasbord of delight! I have been busy sewing different patterns from the Sewfab bundle to share with you my take on them! Today I want to share with you the Candy Carousal Dress by Molly blossom Designs!

Reversible Zippy Hoodie from Kitschy Coo, Ananda Pants from CHOPSTIX, The Sally Dress from Very Shannon, Best Harem Pants from Too Sweets , Notebook Slipcover from Gingercake, Junebug Dress from Craftiness Is Not Optional, Fancy Pants Leggings from Titchy Threads, Skinny Jeans from peek-a-boo, Pajama Eaters from Sew Fearless, Ruffle Dress from Sumo's Sweet Stuff, Go To Cape for Women, Sadie Grace Nightgown from Seamingly Smitten, Vintage V-Neck from Blank Slate Patterns, Zermatt Bow Swing Coat from See Kate Sew, Tumble Tee from imaginegnats, Nituna Jacket from Figgy's, Greenpoint Cardigan from Hey June, Gathers and Giggles Quilt from Sew Much Ado, Billy Car Play Mat and Roll Up from Handmade Therapy, Bimaa Sweater from LouBee Clothing, Candy Carousel Dress from Molly Blossom, Convertible Clutch from LBG Studio , Infinity Sweater from One Girl Circus, Undies Pattern from From the Red Kitchen, Owl Backpack from The Sewing Loft, Ethan Shirt from the Scientific Seamstress This Sew Fab e-Pattern Bundle is only available for one week and will never be available again!  You can purchase the bundle from September 30th at 8 a.m. EST through October 8th at 8 a.m. EST and there will be no late sales offered.  Due to the nature of the sale there are no refunds.

Now That I have shared the basics of the sale here is the dress!!!

The Carousal dress is of course super cute not layered and as a dress, but I also found that I it cute layered with a tee and some pants underneath! (I made it just a touch shorter than the pattern)

The pattern is for a tiered twirly skirt, I decided to do a patchwork layer in my skirt as well though, why you ask? Well, because I had a half a dozen FQ's to use up :) That is correct - only 6 fat quarters and you can re-create this look!

The back of the dress is a solid piece but the bottom ruffle goes all the way around the dress.

It closes with that nifty tie on the front and is layered and twirly and just plain adorable! I LOVE it styled over the Easy fit pants (but it would also look adorable over the skinnies that are in the sewfab bundle!)

The pattern has very few pieces to print - yay for saving ink, and pieces together perfectly!

Just one of the super cute patterns in the sewfab bundle! Stay tuned to this blog all week for more sewfab bundle sewing! Also don't forget to follow us on Facebook and in our Lab Group to keep up to date and chat with us! We love our fans and love connecting with you all !
